In a thrilling Week 4 matchup, the Baltimore Ravens narrowly defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 30-24, solidifying their position in the competitive AFC landscape. With both teams looking to establish momentum early in the season, this victory was crucial for the Ravens, showcasing their resilience on home turf. Lamar Jackson led the charge for Baltimore, throwing for 295 yards and consistently finding ways to keep drives alive. Ahmad Hardy complemented the passing game with a strong performance on the ground, racking up 94 rushing yards and providing a balanced attack. On the other side, Patrick Mahomes threw for two touchdowns and connected with Nyck Harbor for 125 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Ravens' offensive firepower. Defensively, the Ravens held firm, but the game’s turning point came in the fourth quarter when Baltimore’s defense managed to stifle Mahomes during a critical possession, forcing a turnover on downs. Evan Johnson of the Chiefs made his presence felt with eight total tackles, while Jaishawn Barham recorded two sacks, but it was the Ravens' ability to clamp down in crucial moments that ultimately secured their victory.
