In a crucial Week 12 matchup, the Detroit Lions emerged victorious over the Chicago Bears, winning decisively with a final score of 24-11. This win keeps the Lions firmly in the playoff hunt, while the Bears look to regroup as the season winds down. Quarterback Jared Goff was the standout performer for Detroit, throwing for an impressive 325 yards and three touchdowns. Amon-Ra St. Brown was his favorite target, racking up 194 receiving yards, proving to be a constant threat downfield. D'Andre Swift led the Bears in rushing but struggled to find space, with only 43 yards on the ground. Defensively, the Lions were instrumental in sealing the game, led by Jack Campbell with 12 total tackles and an interception from Kerby Joseph. The turning point came late in the first half when Joseph picked off a pass, halting a promising Bears drive and allowing the Lions to extend their lead. Despite some pressure from Grady Jarrett, who recorded 1.5 sacks, the Bears were unable to mount a significant comeback against a stout Lions defense.
