In a thrilling Week 9 matchup, the Buffalo Bills narrowly defeated the Minnesota Vikings by a score of 29-28, keeping their playoff hopes alive in the tightly contested 2026 season. With both teams vying for crucial momentum, every play mattered, and the Bills emerged victorious in a game that showcased their offensive firepower and defensive resilience. Josh Allen put on a stellar performance, throwing for 323 yards and two touchdowns, while DJ Moore led the receiving corps with 103 yards. The Bills’ offense was fueled by a balanced attack, but it was Allen’s ability to connect on key passes that ultimately made the difference, allowing Buffalo to maintain a slight edge throughout the contest. Defensively, the Bills made critical plays that shifted momentum, particularly with Greg Rousseau’s sack and Davison Igbinosun’s interception. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Igbinosun's timely pick thwarted a Minnesota drive, preserving the lead for Buffalo and sealing the victory. The Vikings' defense, while solid, couldn't quite match the Bills' explosive offense, leaving them just short in this high-stakes clash.
