In a thrilling Week 3 matchup, the Carolina Panthers narrowly defeated the Cleveland Browns by a score of 35-29, securing their place in the early-season playoff picture. Both teams showcased their offensive prowess, but it was the Panthers who managed to pull ahead in the final moments of the game. Leading the charge for Carolina was quarterback Bryce Young, who threw for 228 yards and three touchdowns, demonstrating poise under pressure. On the opposing side, Cleveland's Taylen Green was a force on the ground, racking up 131 rushing yards, while KC Concepcion Jr. matched that total in receiving yards, proving to be a dynamic duo for the Browns. Defensively, the Panthers were able to make critical stops when it mattered most, with Jaelan Phillips leading the charge with 2.5 sacks that disrupted Cleveland's offensive rhythm. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when a key interception by Grant Delpit gave the Browns a chance to tie the game, but a strong defensive stand by Carolina sealed the victory, showcasing their ability to perform under pressure.
