The Jacksonville Jaguars secured a thrilling 35-29 victory over the Denver Broncos in Week 2 of the 2026 season. Both teams entered the matchup looking to establish their dominance early in the year, but it was the Jaguars who emerged triumphant in a closely contested battle. Trevor Lawrence led the way for Jacksonville with an impressive 276 passing yards, while Bhayshul Tuten made a significant impact on the ground, rushing for 123 yards. For Denver, Bo Nix showcased his arm talent, tossing two touchdown passes, but it was Evan Engram who stole the show for the Broncos with a remarkable 124 receiving yards. Defensively, the Jaguars made crucial plays that turned the tide in their favor, highlighted by Kaiir Elam's interception that halted a potential scoring drive for Denver. Antonio Johnson's four total tackles helped stifle the Broncos' rushing attack, while Zach Allen's lone sack was not enough to shift momentum. Ultimately, the Jaguars capitalized on key defensive stops and timely offensive execution to secure their win.
