In a decisive Week 2 matchup, the New Orleans Saints topped the Baltimore Ravens with a final score of 24-13, showcasing their strength early in the 2026 season. This victory not only boosts the Saints' confidence but also sets the tone for their upcoming games as they look to solidify their playoff aspirations. Tyler Shough delivered a standout performance for the Saints, throwing three touchdown passes while amassing significant yardage. Complementing Shough's aerial assault, Travis Etienne Jr. contributed on the ground with 76 rushing yards, providing a balanced offensive attack that kept the Ravens' defense on its heels. Despite Lamar Jackson's solid outing with 241 passing yards, the Saints' offense proved too much to handle. Defensively, the Saints made their presence felt, highlighted by Bryan Bresee's two sacks that disrupted the Ravens' rhythm. Jonas Sanker also stood out with five total tackles, helping to stifle Baltimore's drives and maintain control of the game. The turning point came in the second quarter when the Saints' defense forced a crucial turnover, allowing New Orleans to capitalize and extend their lead, ultimately sealing the win.
