The Jacksonville Jaguars secured a decisive 31-17 victory over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 16 of the 2026 season. This win keeps the Jaguars firmly in the playoff hunt, showcasing their offensive prowess and defensive resilience against a tough opponent. Jalen Hurts was the standout performer for Jacksonville, throwing for an impressive 396 yards and three touchdowns. His ability to connect with receivers, particularly George Pickens, who tallied 122 receiving yards, was instrumental in maintaining the Jaguars’ offensive momentum throughout the game. Meanwhile, Cam Skattebo led the Cowboys on the ground with 115 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with Jacksonville's explosive offense. Defensively, Carlton Davis III was a game-changer for the Jaguars, intercepting two passes that shifted the momentum in favor of Jacksonville. The Jaguars' defense effectively contained the Cowboys' scoring opportunities, particularly in the second half, when they tightened their grip on the game. The turning point came when Davis's second interception led to a touchdown drive that pushed the Jaguars' lead to two scores, sealing the game's outcome.
