In a tightly contested matchup, the New Orleans Saints narrowly defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 19-14, solidifying their playoff hopes in Week 15 of the 2026 season. Both teams fought hard, but the Saints' ability to execute in critical moments ultimately secured their victory. Baker Mayfield led the charge for New Orleans, throwing for 261 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his command of the offense. He connected with Dontayvion Wicks for 62 yards, providing a reliable target throughout the game. Meanwhile, Rico Dowdle of the Buccaneers was a standout on the ground, rushing for 71 yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Saints' aerial assault. Defensively, the game turned on a crucial interception by Kamari Ramsey of the Saints, which halted a promising Buccaneers drive and shifted momentum back to New Orleans. Though the Buccaneers' Alex Singleton recorded seven total tackles and Aidan Hutchinson added a sack, their efforts fell short as the Saints' defense tightened when it mattered most, allowing them to hold on for the victory.
