In a tightly contested matchup, the Jacksonville Jaguars topped the Tennessee Titans 23-17 in Week 2 of the 2027 season. The stakes were high as both teams sought to establish momentum early in the year, but ultimately it was Jacksonville that emerged victorious on the road. Jalen Hurts led the Jaguars' offensive charge with a commanding performance, throwing for 287 yards and showing poise in critical moments. Breece Hall contributed on the ground with 52 rushing yards, while the Titans' Malik Willis managed to find the end zone once through the air, but it wasn't enough to secure the win. JuJu Smith-Schuster was a bright spot for Tennessee, racking up 95 receiving yards, but the Jaguars' offense proved to be more efficient when it mattered most. Defensively, Jacksonville made its presence felt, with Chidobe Awuzie leading the way with nine total tackles. Dre'Mont Jones was particularly impactful, recording three sacks that disrupted the Titans' offensive rhythm throughout the game. The turning point came in the fourth quarter when Dillon Thieneman intercepted a pass, halting a potential game-winning drive and sealing the Jaguars' hard-fought victory.
