In a thrilling Week 12 matchup, the Miami Dolphins held off the New York Jets with a final score of 30-24, solidifying their position in the playoff race. With both teams vying for crucial wins, the stakes were high, but Miami managed to outlast their division rivals in a tightly contested game. Lamar Jackson was the star of the show for the Dolphins, throwing for 284 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his dual-threat ability and command of the offense. On the other side, David Montgomery carried the Jets' ground game with an impressive 136 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to secure the victory. D'Andre Swift also shone for Miami, racking up 115 receiving yards, providing Jackson with a reliable target throughout the game. Defensively, Miami made key plays to secure the win, with Calen Bullock leading the team with five total tackles. The turning point came in the second half when the Dolphins' defense tightened, forcing crucial stops that thwarted New York's momentum. Though Quay Walker recorded 1.5 sacks for the Jets and Will McDonald IV intercepted a pass, it was Miami's ability to respond under pressure that ultimately sealed the victory.
