In a tightly contested matchup, the Houston Texans emerged victorious, defeating the Miami Dolphins 21-12 in Week 4 of the 2027 season. The win is crucial for the Texans as they look to establish themselves in a competitive division, while the Dolphins struggle to find their footing early in the year. Houston's quarterback, Javonte Ryans, showcased his skills, throwing for 219 yards and three touchdowns, proving to be the driving force behind the Texans' offensive efforts. Meanwhile, Miami's Lamar Jackson led his team on the ground with 41 rushing yards, but it was Alec Pierce's 84 receiving yards that highlighted the Dolphins' passing attack, though their efforts fell just short of a comeback. Defensively, the Texans were bolstered by Bryce Boettcher's key interception, which halted a promising Dolphins drive and shifted momentum back to Houston. The turning point came late in the third quarter when Boettcher's pick set up a touchdown that extended the Texans' lead, making it difficult for Miami to recover as they struggled to find their rhythm against a resilient Houston defense.
