The Dallas Cowboys narrowly defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 17-14 in a tightly contested Week 7 matchup of the 2027 season. With both teams vying for playoff positioning, this game was critical for maintaining momentum as the season heads into its second half. Cowboys quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr. showcased his skills with 177 passing yards, while running back Cam Skattebo delivered an impressive performance, rushing for 127 yards and adding 59 receiving yards to his tally. Skattebo's versatility proved vital in keeping the Eagles' defense on its heels throughout the game. Defensively, the Cowboys made a significant impact, with Jake Golday leading the charge with three interceptions that turned the tide in Dallas's favor. The turning point came in the fourth quarter when Golday's third pick halted a promising Eagles drive, allowing the Cowboys to maintain their slim lead. The Eagles' defense, highlighted by Cam Taylor-Britt's four tackles and James Pearce Jr.'s sack, fought hard but ultimately couldn't overcome the mistakes made on offense.
