In a crucial Week 7 matchup, the Dallas Cowboys topped the Philadelphia Eagles with a final score of 32-21, solidifying their position in the playoff hunt. Both teams entered the game needing a win to maintain momentum as the season approaches the halfway mark. Dallas quarterback Drake Maye showcased his skills, throwing for three touchdowns while leading the offense effectively. Cam Skattebo was a standout on the ground, racking up an impressive 146 rushing yards that helped propel the Cowboys to victory. Meanwhile, Eagles quarterback Fernando Mendoza threw for 255 yards but struggled to find the end zone, putting his team at a disadvantage. The defensive efforts were highlighted by Blake Cashman, who recorded eight total tackles, but it was the Cowboys' ability to contain the Eagles' offense that proved pivotal. The game's turning point came in the third quarter when the Cowboys intercepted a pass, shifting momentum and allowing Dallas to extend their lead. Despite a strong effort from the Eagles' defense, including a sack from Gabe Jacas and an interception from Cam Taylor-Britt, it wasn’t enough to overcome the Cowboys’ balanced attack.
