The Dallas Cowboys topped the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 28-16 in a pivotal Week 5 matchup of the 2026 season. With both teams vying for playoff positioning, the Cowboys showcased their offensive prowess to secure a critical victory at home. Drake Maye was the star of the night, throwing for three touchdowns and leading the Cowboys' offense efficiently. Meanwhile, Josh Allen of the Buccaneers put up a respectable performance with 210 passing yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with Dallas. Josh Oliver emerged as a key target, racking up 84 receiving yards and providing Maye with a reliable option downfield. On the defensive side, the Cowboys made crucial plays that helped shift momentum in their favor. Jake Golday led the charge with six total tackles, while Kristian Fulton snagged an interception that halted a promising Buccaneers drive. The turning point came in the second quarter when Maye connected with Oliver for a touchdown, giving the Cowboys a lead they would not relinquish.
