In a decisive Week 4 matchup, the Cincinnati Bengals topped the Jacksonville Jaguars with a final score of 28-13, solidifying their position in the early season standings. The win not only boosts the Bengals' confidence but also places them firmly in the playoff conversation as the season progresses. Cincinnati's offensive fireworks were led by quarterback Justin Herbert, who tossed for 247 yards and a touchdown, while running back James Conner added a solid 74 rushing yards to the mix. Tee Higgins proved to be a reliable target, racking up 87 receiving yards and contributing to the Bengals' offensive rhythm throughout the game. Together, they formed a potent trio that kept the Jaguars' defense guessing. Defensively, the Bengals made crucial plays to secure the victory, highlighted by Charvarius Ward Sr's interception that shifted momentum in their favor. Although the Jaguars' Alfred Collins registered 1.5 sacks, it was the Bengals' ability to force turnovers and stifle key drives that ultimately dictated the game's outcome. The turning point came in the second quarter when the Bengals’ defense capitalized on a Jaguars mistake, allowing Cincinnati to extend their lead and control the game from that point onward.
