In a nail-biter that came down to the final minutes, the Home team narrowly defeated the Away team 10-9 in Week 2 of the 2026 season. Both teams fought hard, but it was the Home squad that managed to secure the victory and improve their standing early in the season. Offensively, Cole Payton led the charge for the Home team, throwing for one touchdown and guiding the offense effectively. RJ Harvey was a standout on the ground, racking up 93 rushing yards, while Justin Jefferson played a crucial role in the passing game with 82 receiving yards. Despite the loss, Mac Jones put up solid numbers for the Away team, amassing 208 passing yards. Defensively, Budda Baker was instrumental for the Home team, recording four total tackles and helping to stifle the Away team’s offensive efforts. The game's turning point came late in the fourth quarter when the Home defense held firm, forcing a critical turnover that allowed them to maintain their slim lead. With Myles Garrett's two sacks and Tyson Campbell's two interceptions for the Away team, they fought valiantly, but it ultimately wasn't enough to clinch the win.
