The Tampa Bay Buccaneers secured a decisive 35-14 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 6 of the 2026 season, asserting their dominance as they look to solidify their playoff positioning. With both teams vying for crucial wins, the Buccaneers showcased their strength on both sides of the ball, pulling away in the second half. Fernando Mendoza of the Steelers put up a commendable performance with 219 passing yards and two touchdowns, connecting well with standout receiver Ja'Marr Chase, who racked up 122 receiving yards. However, it was Jaylen Wright who led the ground game for Tampa Bay, accumulating 94 rushing yards and contributing significantly to the team's offensive momentum throughout the game. Defensively, the Buccaneers were relentless, spearheaded by Rueben Bain Jr., who not only recorded four total tackles but also dominated the pass rush with three sacks. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Bain's pressure led to an interception by JT Woods, shifting the momentum firmly in favor of Tampa Bay and setting the stage for their commanding second half.
