In a stunning offensive display, the Chicago Bears cruised to a commanding 71-30 victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 6 of the 2026 season. This high-stakes matchup showcased the Bears' dominance as they continue to solidify their position in the playoff race, while the Falcons struggle to find their footing. Leading the charge for Chicago was quarterback Jared Goff, who threw for an astonishing 457 yards and eight touchdowns, showcasing precision and power throughout the game. He found his favorite target, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who amassed 188 receiving yards, creating a dynamic duo that overwhelmed Atlanta's secondary. Christian McCaffrey put up a valiant effort for the Falcons with 150 rushing yards, but it simply wasn't enough to keep pace with the Bears' explosive offense. Defensively, the Bears were equally impressive, with Danielle Hunter recording three sacks to stifle Atlanta's passing game and Xavier Watts leading with four total tackles. The game's turning point came early in the second quarter when Goff connected with Smith-Njigba for a 65-yard touchdown that shifted momentum firmly in Chicago's favor. The Falcons struggled to recover from that blow, ultimately leading to a decisive win for the Bears.
