The New Orleans Saints secured a convincing 29-7 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 3 of the 2026 season, demonstrating their dominance at home. With this win, the Saints not only improved their record but also established themselves as a formidable contender in the league early in the season. Quarterback Joe Burrow led the charge for New Orleans, throwing for 231 yards and a touchdown, while Isiah Pacheco showcased his skills on the ground with an impressive 105 rushing yards. CeeDee Lamb contributed significantly to the passing game, racking up 77 receiving yards and providing Burrow with a reliable target throughout the contest. The Saints' defense played a crucial role in this matchup, particularly with James Pierre's interception that halted a potential Raiders scoring drive. While the Raiders' Edgerrin Cooper recorded eight tackles, the Saints' ability to pressure the opposing offense ultimately turned the tide, making it difficult for Las Vegas to find their rhythm. The combination of a strong defensive performance and timely turnovers established the Saints as the clear winners in this contest.
