The New York Jets opened the 2026 season with an impressive 35-17 victory over the Tennessee Titans. With both teams aiming to establish momentum early in the year, the Jets showcased their offensive firepower while the Titans looked to bounce back from a slow start. Leading the charge for the Jets was quarterback Justin Herbert, who threw for 257 yards and three touchdowns, demonstrating precision and poise in the pocket. Meanwhile, Saquon Barkley proved to be a dual-threat asset, amassing 69 rushing yards and an impressive 113 receiving yards, making him a constant menace for the Titans' defense. On the defensive side, the Jets managed to stifle the Titans' offensive efforts, with Caleb Banks contributing a key sack that disrupted Tennessee's rhythm. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Herbert connected with Barkley for a touchdown, extending the Jets' lead to 21-10 and forcing the Titans to play catch-up for the remainder of the game.
