In a decisive Week 11 matchup, the Minnesota Vikings topped the San Francisco 49ers with a final score of 28-18, solidifying their playoff positioning as the season nears its climax. This victory was crucial for the Vikings, who continue to vie for dominance in a competitive NFC landscape. Leading the charge for Minnesota was quarterback Kyler Murray, who threw for 285 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to connect with his targets downfield. Wide receiver Justin Jefferson was a standout performer, racking up 124 receiving yards that helped keep the chains moving. Meanwhile, San Francisco's Christian McCaffrey made a significant impact on the ground, accumulating 95 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Vikings’ offensive firepower. Defensively, the Vikings made their presence felt, with Byron Murphy Jr. recording eight tackles, providing a steady support system to the team’s efforts on that side of the ball. The turning point of the game came when Minnesota's defense stiffened in key moments, limiting San Francisco's scoring opportunities. Jalen Redmond contributed with half a sack, helping to disrupt the 49ers’ rhythm and ultimately securing the win for Minnesota.
