The Denver Broncos topped the Carolina Panthers 31-17 in a decisive Week 9 matchup that showcased their offensive prowess and strong playmaking ability. With this victory, the Broncos keep their playoff hopes alive while the Panthers look to regroup and reassess their strategy heading into the second half of the season. RJ Harvey was the standout performer on the ground for Denver, rushing for 122 yards and a touchdown, establishing a dominant presence that opened up the passing game. Meanwhile, Bryce Young led the Panthers' offense with 139 passing yards and two touchdowns, demonstrating resilience despite the team's struggles. Jalen Coker contributed significantly in the air, finishing with 89 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to secure a win. On the defensive side, Malcolm Roach was a force for the Broncos, recording 1.5 sacks that disrupted the Panthers' rhythm and contributed to their offensive struggles. Tre'von Moehrig's two interceptions for Carolina highlighted the team's defensive efforts, yet the Panthers couldn't capitalize on those turnovers. The game's turning point came in the third quarter, when Denver's defense stifled a promising Carolina drive, allowing the Broncos to extend their lead and ultimately seal the victory.
