In a decisive Week 7 showdown, the Denver Broncos topped the Arizona Cardinals with a final score of 48-29, solidifying their standing in the league. This victory was crucial for the Broncos as they look to maintain momentum heading into the latter half of the season. The Cardinals, despite a valiant effort, fell short in their quest for a critical win on home turf. Leading the offensive charge for Arizona was quarterback Fernando Mendoza, who threw for an impressive 273 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his ability to move the ball downfield. Running back Jeremiyah Love complemented the passing game with 93 rushing yards, while tight end Trey McBride emerged as a standout receiver, accumulating 120 yards. However, it was not enough to outpace the Broncos' relentless offense. Defensively, the Broncos made impactful plays that turned the tide of the game, particularly with Germaine Pratt's two interceptions that stifled Arizona's momentum at crucial moments. Talanoa Hufanga anchored the defense with five total tackles, providing stability throughout the contest. The combination of timely turnovers and solid tackling proved to be the difference-maker as Denver secured their victory and pushed forward in the season.
