In a tightly contested battle, the Houston Texans narrowly defeated the Tennessee Titans 16-13 in Week 5 of the 2026 season. The stakes were high, with both teams looking for a crucial win to boost their playoff aspirations. The Texans managed to hold on in a game that featured strong defensive play and key offensive moments. Leading the offensive charge for the Titans was quarterback Cam Ward, who threw for 187 yards and one touchdown, showcasing his ability to move the ball through the air. However, it was Quinshon Judkins of the Texans who stole the show on the ground, racking up 81 rushing yards to help his team maintain offensive momentum. Wan'Dale Robinson also made his mark for Tennessee, hauling in 74 receiving yards, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Houston’s late-game resilience. Defensively, the Titans were led by Cedric Gray, who recorded eight total tackles, and Oluwafemi Oladejo, who contributed significantly with 1.5 sacks. Despite their efforts, the Texans' defense proved to be the game-changer, with Kamari Lassiter's interception providing a pivotal moment that shifted the momentum in Houston's favor. This key turnover ultimately sealed the victory for the Texans, allowing them to hold off the Titans in a thrilling finish.
