In a decisive Week 13 matchup, the Houston Texans topped the Pittsburgh Steelers 35-15, solidifying their playoff positioning as the season winds down. The Texans' balanced attack proved too much for the Steelers, who struggled to keep pace throughout the game. C.J. Stroud led the Texans' offense, throwing for two touchdowns and showcasing his growing chemistry with his receivers. While the Steelers' Drew Allar recorded the game's highest passing yards with 199, it was Rico Dowdle's impressive 96 rushing yards that stood out in a losing effort. Despite some bright moments from Pittsburgh's offense, the Texans maintained control with explosive plays and timely scoring. On the defensive side, Danielle Hunter was a game-changer for Houston, racking up 2.5 sacks to disrupt the Steelers' rhythm. Azeez Al-Shaair also made his mark with a key interception that halted a potential Pittsburgh scoring drive and swung momentum back in favor of the Texans. The turning point came early in the second half when Hunter's pressure led to a turnover, allowing Houston to extend their lead and ultimately secure the win.
