In a crucial Week 12 matchup, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers topped the Carolina Panthers with a final score of 35-23, solidifying their position in the playoff race. With both teams vying for momentum as the season draws to a close, the Buccaneers managed to outlast their divisional rivals in this pivotal contest. Bryce Young led the Panthers with a strong performance, throwing for 225 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to find success through the air. Meanwhile, Chuba Hubbard was a force on the ground, rushing for 98 yards, while Darren Waller contributed significantly in the passing game with 88 receiving yards. Despite their efforts, the Panthers fell short as the Buccaneers executed their game plan effectively. Defensively, Calijah Kancey was a standout for Tampa Bay, recording three total tackles and one sack, helping to pressure Young throughout the game. The turning point came in the second half when the Buccaneers capitalized on a key turnover, shifting the momentum and allowing them to maintain control. Lathan Ransom's interception for Carolina provided a glimmer of hope, but it wasn't enough to sway the outcome as Tampa Bay held off the comeback attempt.
