In a commanding performance, the Seattle Seahawks defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 45-17 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, Seattle's offense showcased its firepower, while the Chiefs struggled to keep pace. Sam Darnold led the charge for the Seahawks, throwing for four touchdown passes and demonstrating precise accuracy that kept the Chiefs' defense on its heels. Patrick Mahomes had a solid outing for Kansas City, racking up 290 passing yards and connecting with Jeff Caldwell for 128 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome Seattle's offensive onslaught. Jadarian Price added key contributions on the ground, although his rushing game was limited to 32 yards. Defensively, the Seahawks were relentless, with AJ Finley making a game-changing impact by snagging two interceptions. Derick Hall added to the pressure with a sack, helping to stifle any momentum the Chiefs attempted to build. The turning point came in the second quarter when Seattle scored back-to-back touchdowns, turning a competitive game into a decisive victory.
