In a high-octane matchup, the San Francisco 49ers decisively beat the Atlanta Falcons 61-33 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, the 49ers showcased their dominance, solidifying their position in the NFC hierarchy with this impressive win. On the offensive side, it was a night of record-breaking performances, led by Kaelon Black, who rushed for an astonishing 204 yards, finding the end zone multiple times. Quarterback Tyler Shough of the Falcons threw for 401 yards and three touchdowns, keeping his team competitive, but he ultimately could not match the firepower of the 49ers. George Kittle was a standout in the receiving game, racking up 177 yards and proving to be a reliable target throughout the contest. Defensively, the 49ers made critical plays that shifted momentum in their favor, highlighted by Gracen Halton's sack and Marques Sigle's timely interception. Although Andrew Mukuba of the Falcons led the defense with three total tackles, the Atlanta defense struggled to contain San Francisco's relentless offensive attack. The turning point came midway through the third quarter when the 49ers scored back-to-back touchdowns, effectively putting the game out of reach for the Falcons.
