The New England Patriots secured a decisive 37-14 victory over the Chicago Bears in Week 7 of the 2026 season, solidifying their position in playoff contention. The win was crucial for the Patriots as they aim to maintain momentum heading into the second half of the season. Drake Maye led the Patriots' offense, throwing for 150 yards while orchestrating a balanced attack that kept the Bears' defense on its heels. On the other side, Caleb Williams managed to score the only passing touchdown for Chicago, while Rome Odunze rushed for an impressive 102 yards, providing some highlights for the struggling Bears offense. Despite the efforts, it was clear that the Patriots' offensive depth outmatched Chicago's. Defensively, the Patriots made their mark with Carlton Davis III snagging an interception that shifted the momentum firmly in New England's favor. Although Devin Bush recorded a game-high seven tackles for the Bears and Montez Sweat added a sack, the Chicago defense struggled to contain the Patriots' scoring drive. The game's turning point came when Davis's interception led to a quick touchdown, effectively putting the game out of reach for the Bears.
