In a thrilling Week 6 matchup, the Kansas City Chiefs held off the Los Angeles Chargers with a final score of 35-28. With playoff implications on the line, both teams battled fiercely, but it was the Chiefs who emerged victorious in a hard-fought contest. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes put on a dazzling performance, throwing for 411 yards and five touchdowns, showcasing his elite arm and decision-making throughout the game. Meanwhile, Chargers running back Omarion Hampton kept his team competitive with 127 rushing yards, but it was Mahomes and his favorite target, Rashee Rice, who stole the show. Rice recorded an impressive 146 receiving yards, providing Mahomes with a reliable option downfield. On the defensive side, the Chiefs made crucial plays that ultimately decided the game. Mansoor Delane led the defense with four total tackles and snagged an interception, while R Mason Thomas added pressure with two sacks. The turning point came in the fourth quarter when Delane's interception halted a potential game-tying drive for the Chargers, allowing Kansas City to secure the win and solidify their standing in the league.
