The Pittsburgh Steelers topped the Houston Texans 28-10 in a pivotal Week 13 matchup, solidifying their position in the playoff race. With both teams vying for crucial victories, the Steelers showcased their dominance at home, proving too much for the Texans to handle. Aaron Rodgers led the charge for Pittsburgh, throwing for two touchdowns while managing the game effectively. DK Metcalf was a key target, racking up 73 receiving yards, while the ground game was bolstered by a steady performance from the Steelers’ offense. C.J. Stroud put up respectable numbers for Houston, finishing with 215 passing yards, but it wasn’t enough to swing the momentum. Defensively, Pittsburgh’s unit was relentless, highlighted by Cam Heyward's impressive 2.5 sacks that disrupted Houston's offensive rhythm. Patrick Queen's eight total tackles underscored the Steelers' control in the trenches, while a pivotal moment came in the second quarter when Heyward's sack led to a turnover on downs, shifting the tide firmly in Pittsburgh's favor. The Texans struggled to recover from that defensive stand, sealing their fate in this critical encounter.
