In a hard-fought battle, the Buffalo Bills narrowly defeated the Minnesota Vikings 6-0 in Week 9 of the 2026 season. With both teams struggling offensively, the stakes were high for a crucial victory as they jostle for playoff positioning. Minnesota's Kyler Murray led the passing game with 135 yards, but it was Jordan Mason's 53 rushing yards that highlighted the Vikings' ground game. Jauan Jennings contributed 40 receiving yards, but the Vikings were ultimately unable to find the end zone, leaving them scoreless in a defensive showdown. The Bills' defense played a pivotal role in securing the win, with Terrel Bernard leading the charge with nine total tackles. Shaq Thompson added a key sack, disrupting Minnesota's offensive rhythm and preventing any scoring opportunities. This defensive dominance was the turning point that allowed Buffalo to hold on for the victory.
