The Kansas City Chiefs dominated the New York Jets with a resounding 55-14 victory in Week 9 of the 2026 season. This win not only boosts the Chiefs' playoff hopes but also reinforces their status as one of the top teams in the league. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes delivered a stellar performance, throwing for 350 yards and six touchdowns, showcasing his elite talent. He found tight end Travis Kelce frequently, who racked up 119 receiving yards. On the ground, Kenneth Walker added 83 rushing yards, contributing to an offensive onslaught that the Jets struggled to contain. Defensively, the Chiefs were equally impressive, with Alohi Gilman leading the team with six total tackles. However, it was Mansoor Delane's two interceptions that proved pivotal, stifling any chance of a Jets comeback. The turning point came early in the second half when Delane's second pick led to another quick touchdown, effectively sealing the game for Kansas City.
