In a decisive Week 2 matchup, the Chicago Bears topped the Minnesota Vikings with a final score of 28-14, showcasing their dominance early in the 2026 season. The Bears sought to build momentum, while the Vikings aimed to bounce back from a tough opening week, but it was Chicago that came out on top in this rivalry clash. Caleb Williams shone in the Bears' offense, throwing for 255 yards and two touchdowns, effectively leading his team to victory. D'Andre Swift provided a solid ground game with 70 rushing yards, while Rome Odunze emerged as Williams' favorite target, racking up 91 receiving yards. Together, they formed a potent offensive trio that kept the Vikings' defense on its heels throughout the game. Defensively, the Bears were just as impressive, with Devin Bush contributing a critical sack and Tyrique Stevenson coming away with an interception that shifted momentum in Chicago's favor. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Stevenson's interception led to a quick touchdown drive, giving the Bears a lead they would not relinquish. This resilient defensive effort, coupled with a strong offensive performance, solidified Chicago's position early in the season.
