In a commanding performance, the Atlanta Falcons topped the Seattle Seahawks 40-16 in the Divisional Round of the 2026 season, securing their spot in the next phase of the playoffs. The stakes were high as both teams fought for a chance to advance, but it was the Falcons who showcased their dominance on both sides of the ball. Leading the charge for Atlanta was quarterback Michael Penix Jr., who threw for 226 yards and three touchdowns, orchestrating an efficient offensive attack. Running back Bijan Robinson added a powerful ground game with 108 rushing yards, while Jahan Dotson emerged as a key target, racking up 120 receiving yards. Together, they made it difficult for the Seahawks' defense to mount any significant resistance. On the defensive front, A.J. Terrell Jr. stole the spotlight with an impressive three interceptions, turning the tide in favor of Atlanta at critical moments. The Falcons' defense effectively stifled Seattle's offensive efforts, with standout tackles from Leonard Williams providing the Seahawks with minimal opportunities to gain momentum. A pivotal moment came when Terrell's third interception shifted the game's momentum squarely in Atlanta's favor, sealing the victory and a trip to the next round.
