Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels was the standout performer, throwing for 219 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his ability to connect with his receivers under pressure. Terry McLaurin also made his mark with a crucial 74 receiving yards, providing a reliable target throughout the game. On the ground, Demond Claiborne of the Cowboys shined with 124 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to clinch the win. Defensively, the Commanders made key plays that shifted the momentum, including a crucial interception by Quan Martin that thwarted a Cowboys scoring drive. Buddy Love led the team with four total tackles, helping to maintain pressure on Dallas' offense. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Washington's defense held strong, allowing just enough time for Daniels and the offense to secure the victory with a final touchdown.
