In a decisive Week 17 showdown, the Denver Broncos topped the New England Patriots 27-7, solidifying their playoff position as the regular season draws to a close. With both teams fighting for momentum, the Broncos showcased their dominance on both sides of the ball, leaving the Patriots struggling to keep pace. Bo Nix led the charge for Denver, throwing for 172 yards and two touchdowns, effectively distributing the ball to his weapons, including standout receiver Courtland Sutton, who tallied 82 receiving yards. Although the ground game was not as explosive, RJ Harvey contributed with 41 rushing yards, helping to maintain offensive balance and control the clock. Defensively, the Broncos were relentless, highlighted by Nik Bonitto's two sacks and Ja'Quan McMillian's crucial interception, which shifted the momentum firmly in Denver's favor. The turning point came late in the second quarter when McMillian's pick set up another scoring drive for the Broncos, allowing them to establish a commanding lead that the Patriots could never overcome.
