In a dominant display to kick off the 2026 season, the Cleveland Browns shut out the Jacksonville Jaguars with a final score of 13-0. This Week 1 matchup was crucial for both teams as they looked to establish momentum early in the year, but it was the Browns who left Jacksonville with a decisive victory. Cleveland's offense was led by quarterback Taylen Green, who threw for 132 yards and a touchdown, showcasing his ability to manage the game effectively. Quinshon Judkins powered the ground attack with 80 rushing yards, providing the Browns with a balanced offensive effort. Harold Fannin Jr. was the standout receiver, racking up 64 yards and reinforcing the team's aerial threat. Defensively, the Browns were relentless, with Jared Verse leading the charge with three total tackles. While the Jaguars' Travon Walker recorded two sacks in an effort to pressure Green, Jacksonville's inability to score highlighted Cleveland's defensive prowess. The turning point came in the second quarter when the Browns' defense held the Jaguars to a critical three-and-out, allowing Cleveland to extend their lead and ultimately seal the shutout.
