The Indianapolis Colts kicked off the 2026 season with a commanding 28-7 victory over the Baltimore Ravens. With both teams vying for early momentum, the Colts made a strong statement by securing a dominant win in front of their home crowd. Quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr. was the standout performer for Indianapolis, throwing for 215 yards and three touchdowns while also adding 20 rushing yards. His ability to connect with receivers and efficiently move the chains was pivotal in establishing the Colts' offensive rhythm. Meanwhile, Ja'Kobi Lane put up a valiant effort for the Ravens with 105 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Colts' scoring onslaught. Defensively, the Colts made impactful plays that shifted the momentum of the game. DeForest Buckner registered a key sack, while Sauce Gardner's interception provided a crucial turnover that stifled any potential Ravens comeback. The Colts' defense effectively contained Baltimore's offense, and their ability to pressure the quarterback and create turnovers proved to be a decisive factor in this Week 1 clash.
