AI Recap
AI RECAPThe San Francisco 49ers topped the Seattle Seahawks 47-28 in a high-stakes Week 5 showdown, solidifying their position in the NFC West with an impressive offensive display. With this victory, the 49ers continue to build momentum as they pursue playoff aspirations in the 2026 season.
Brock Purdy was the standout performer for San Francisco, throwing for an impressive 380 yards and five touchdowns, showcasing his precision and poise in the pocket. Ricky Pearsall also shined, racking up 120 receiving yards, while Christian McCaffrey contributed on the ground with 52 rushing yards, helping to balance the 49ers' offensive attack.
Despite a strong effort from the Seahawks' defense, led by Nick Emmanwori with seven tackles and Derick Hall’s 1.5 sacks, they struggled to contain San Francisco's explosive offense. The game's turning point came in the second quarter when Purdy connected on two quick touchdown passes, giving the 49ers a commanding lead that the Seahawks could not overcome.
