In a thrilling Week 16 matchup, the Washington Commanders narrowly defeated the Minnesota Vikings 42-35, solidifying their playoff aspirations as the season winds down. Both teams entered the game with high stakes, looking to bolster their postseason positioning, but it was the Commanders who emerged victorious in a tightly contested battle. Leading the charge for Washington was Jacory Croskey-Merritt, who was a force on the ground, racking up 143 rushing yards and finding the end zone multiple times. Meanwhile, Jayden Daniels contributed effectively through the air, tossing a touchdown despite only one passing score. For the Vikings, Kyler Murray showcased his talents with 265 passing yards, while Tory Horton was a standout receiver, amassing 184 yards, keeping Minnesota competitive throughout the game.
