The Denver Broncos started the 2027 season on a high note, defeating the Cleveland Browns 30-9 in a convincing performance. With both teams eager to establish an early foothold, the Broncos showcased their dominance, setting the tone for the weeks to come. Quarterback Bo Nix was the standout for Denver, throwing for 256 yards and a touchdown, while wide receiver Courtland Sutton racked up an impressive 115 receiving yards. The Broncos' offensive line provided solid protection, allowing Nix to operate effectively and keep the chains moving. Although Quinshon Judkins led the Browns with 75 rushing yards, the Cleveland offense struggled to find its rhythm throughout the game. Defensively, the Broncos made their mark with a strong performance highlighted by Nik Bonitto’s sack and Kris Abrams-Draine’s interception, which shifted the momentum in favor of Denver. The turning point came in the second quarter when Abrams-Draine picked off a pass, allowing the Broncos to capitalize and extend their lead. The combination of a relentless pass rush and a disciplined secondary ensured that Cleveland could not mount a comeback, sealing a decisive win for Denver.
