In a pivotal Week 2 matchup of the 2027 season, the Baltimore Ravens secured a 29-17 victory over the Cleveland Browns, showcasing their dominance in the AFC North. With each team vying for early-season momentum, the Ravens capitalized on their home-field advantage to outlast their rivals. Lamar Jackson was the standout for Baltimore, throwing for 293 yards and leading the offense with precision. He connected with Zay Flowers, who racked up 95 receiving yards, creating key plays that kept the Browns' defense on its heels. On the other side, Taylen Green found the end zone twice through the air for Cleveland, but it wasn't enough to shift the momentum. Defensively, the Ravens were formidable, with Roquan Smith recording 1.5 sacks to disrupt the Browns' rhythm. Antoine Winfield Jr. added an interception, further stifling Cleveland's efforts to mount a comeback. The turning point came late in the third quarter when Smith’s pressure led to a critical turnover, allowing Baltimore to extend their lead and maintain control of the game.
