The New England Patriots held off the Philadelphia Eagles with a final score of 28-22 in a tightly contested Week 4 matchup of the 2027 season. With playoff positioning beginning to take shape, both teams were eager for a crucial win, but it was the Patriots who emerged victorious on their home turf. Drake Maye was the standout performer for New England, throwing for 233 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his ability to lead the offense effectively. Hunter Henry contributed significantly in the passing game, racking up 75 receiving yards, while Saquon Barkley put in a strong effort for the Eagles, rushing for 111 yards but ultimately falling short of securing the win. Defensively, Milton Williams was a key factor for the Patriots, recording two sacks that disrupted Philadelphia's offensive rhythm. The game’s turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Maye connected with Henry for a touchdown that extended the lead, forcing the Eagles to play catch-up. Despite a valiant effort from Eric Wooden, who tallied seven tackles for Philadelphia, it wasn’t enough to prevent the Patriots from sealing the victory.
