The New York Jets held off the Jacksonville Jaguars with a final score of 24-20 in a tightly contested Week 9 matchup. With playoff implications on the line, both teams fought fiercely, but it was the Jets who emerged victorious, showcasing their resilience on the road. Cade Klubnik led the Jets' offense with an impressive 276 passing yards, while Breece Hall dominated on the ground, racking up 101 rushing yards. Kenyon Sadiq was a reliable target for Klubnik, accumulating 99 receiving yards and helping to keep the chains moving at critical moments. The Jets' offensive balance proved crucial in maintaining their lead throughout the game. Defensively, Minkah Fitzpatrick was a standout for New York, recording 12 total tackles and playing a key role in limiting the Jaguars' scoring opportunities. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when the Jets' defense stifled a potential game-winning drive, forcing Trevor Lawrence to settle for a field goal instead of a touchdown. That stand ultimately sealed the win for New York, demonstrating their ability to perform under pressure when it mattered most.
