In a thrilling Week 10 matchup, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers topped the Chicago Bears with a final score of 40-27, solidifying their position in the playoff race. Both teams entered the game seeking crucial momentum, but it was the Buccaneers who emerged victorious, showcasing a potent offensive performance. Cam Ward led the charge for Tampa Bay, throwing for 302 yards and four touchdowns, effectively spreading the ball to his dynamic receiving corps. D'Andre Spriggs was a standout target, racking up 147 receiving yards, while Ashton Jeanty contributed significantly on the ground with 92 rushing yards. This offensive firepower proved too much for the Bears to handle throughout the game. Defensively, the Buccaneers made key plays to stifle the Bears' efforts, highlighted by Calijah Kancey's sack and Malaki Starks' interception. The turning point came late in the third quarter when Ward connected with Spriggs for a long touchdown, extending the lead to 13 points and shifting momentum firmly in Tampa Bay's favor. The Bears struggled to mount a comeback from that point on, as the Buccaneers' defense held strong to seal the win.
