In a decisive Week 10 matchup, the Houston Texans topped the Carolina Panthers 27-9, solidifying their playoff aspirations as the season approaches its final stretch. With both teams vying for a playoff position, the Texans showcased their dominance on both sides of the ball, leaving the Panthers struggling to keep pace. C.J. Stroud led the Texans' offensive charge, throwing for 195 yards and two touchdowns, highlighting his efficiency and command of the game. Nico Collins emerged as his favorite target, racking up an impressive 115 receiving yards, while the Texans' ground game complemented the passing attack effectively, allowing them to control the tempo throughout the game. Defensively, the Texans were relentless, with Calen Bullock making four total tackles and Kamari Lassiter snagging an interception that shifted the momentum in Houston's favor. The turning point came midway through the second quarter when Lassiter's pick set up a quick touchdown drive, pushing the Texans' lead to 14-3 and leaving the Panthers unable to recover. Overall, the Texans' combination of offensive firepower and defensive grit proved too much for Carolina to handle.
