In a decisive Week 5 showdown, the Home team topped the Away team with a final score of 45-23, solidifying their position in the playoff race. The victory was crucial as both teams aimed to establish momentum early in the 2026 season. Leading the charge for the Home team was quarterback Dak Prescott, who threw for 244 yards and three touchdown passes, showcasing his precision and command on the field. Wide receiver George Pickens was a standout target, racking up 92 receiving yards, while the offense thrived on a balanced attack that kept the Away defense guessing throughout the game. Defensively, the Home team made key plays to disrupt the Away offense. Malachi Lawrence's sack was pivotal in shifting the momentum, while Trenton Simpson led his team with eight total tackles, attempting to keep the game competitive. However, the Home team's ability to capitalize on turnovers and maintain pressure ultimately defined the contest, helping them pull away in the second half.
