In a pivotal Week 17 matchup, the San Francisco 49ers topped the Jacksonville Jaguars 22-10, solidifying their playoff positioning as the regular season draws to a close. Both teams entered the game with high stakes, but it was the 49ers who came out on top, showcasing their strength on both sides of the ball. Trevor Lawrence led the Jaguars with a solid performance, throwing for 282 yards and a touchdown, while Brenton Strange emerged as his favorite target, racking up 95 receiving yards. However, it was Kaelon Black who spearheaded the 49ers' ground attack, contributing 76 rushing yards to help maintain offensive momentum throughout the game. Defensively, the 49ers made their mark with Gracen Halton recording 1.5 sacks and Renardo Green snagging an interception, which proved crucial in turning the tide. The game’s turning point came late in the third quarter when Green's interception halted a promising Jaguars drive, allowing San Francisco to extend their lead and ultimately secure the victory.
