In a thrilling Wildcard Round matchup, the Baltimore Ravens narrowly defeated the New York Jets 38-35, securing their spot in the next round of the playoffs. Both teams fought fiercely, knowing that a loss would end their season, but it was the Ravens who ultimately emerged victorious in this high-stakes contest. Lamar Jackson displayed his elite talent, throwing for an impressive 374 yards and five touchdowns, leading the Ravens' explosive offense. He connected with Devontez Walker for a staggering 239 receiving yards, showcasing their powerful aerial attack. While the Jets struggled to establish a ground game, Cade Klubnik contributed modestly with 29 rushing yards, but it was clearly the Ravens' air assault that dictated the pace of the game. Defensively, the Ravens made key plays that influenced the outcome, highlighted by Marlon Humphrey's four total tackles. Despite Joseph Ossai's notable sack for the Jets and Demario Davis's two interceptions, which provided momentum at times, the Ravens' ability to limit the Jets' scoring opportunities ultimately proved decisive. The turning point came in the fourth quarter when Jackson orchestrated a crucial drive, solidifying their lead and securing the win.
